Strategic Leadership of ICT Programme

• Opportunity to complete NCSL Strategic Leadership of ICT Programme (SLICT)
  
• Supports whole school and county development of Embedding ICT
  
• One of the criteria for the Interactive Whiteboard Expansion included Headteachers agreeing to complete the SLICT Programme
• The SLICT Programme is due to finish April 2006
  

• NCSL have agreed to provide a regionally based SLICT Programme during Spring Term 06 involving 2 Days training in Cambridge.
  
• Between two days training a visit is conducted to an assigned host school to observe and examine good leadership practice
  
• The SLICT programmes will help you to:
      
  • Consider the strategic issues of ICT     
  • Gain confidence in your professional judgement     
  • Develop skills, knowledge and understanding to lead ICT

• Participant cost: £350. (NCSL provide the programme free to Headteachers from small schools with fewer than100 pupils)
