Arrangement for Teachers Pay Grant
ARRANGEMENT FOR TEACHERS PAY GRANT
The proposal to incorporate the funds available for Teachers Pay Grant into the AWPA was unacceptable to the majority of the schools replying to the consultation. After discussion with the Schools' Forum it is proposed to adopt the following methodology. That the amount currently distributed for each UPS level be allocated between the actual number of teachers being paid at that level based on the November payroll. The amount of money available towards Upper Pay Spine Costs will be maintained at 2005/06 levels. Money for leadership progression will be incorporated into the AWPA.If this methodology is approved by the County Council it will operate for the next two years.
