RDA Spring Term Agenda 2006

I am writing to provide for you and your chair of governors the review and development adviser agenda for Spring Term 2006. The key items for discussion will be:

1. Quality of Learning -

Discussion of the schools self evaluation of the quality of learning - emphasis will be put on the learning and progress of particular groups of pupils (ie gender, ethnicity, children looked after).


2. The School Self Evaluation -

Further discussion on:
a) developing/ embedding school procedures for self-evaluation
b) follow-up issues from the 2005 PANDA
c) ensuring SEF grades are entered onto the Children's Services site www.esinet.norfolk.gov.uk/eysc/selfreview
d) Sixth Form self evaluation (if applicable)


3. School Improvement and Development Plan -

Either:

i. Discussion regarding the progress the school is making in relation to the production of the plan or
ii. Discussion of the completed plan
and
iii. Discussion re the school's progress in achieving set targets.


4. a) Other School Agenda Items

b) Other Norfolk Children's Services items:
i. Every Child Matters guidelines for schools
ii. Completion of the safe and Secure self audit
iii.Accessibility Plan revision
