  • I am writing to invite you or one of your senior staff to a seminar that will take place in March 2006. These seminars are intended for Headteachers or a member of your Senior Management Team.

    The dates and venues for these seminars are as follows:

    Secondary: 23rd or 24th March: NASH Meeting (time & location to be confirmed)
    Secondary: 30th March: Barnham Broom, Norwich

    Special Schools Heads/Children's Heads of Special Needs Services
    Special: 10th March: NASSH Meeting (time & location to be confirmed)

    Primary: 13th March: Knights Hill Hotel, Kings Lynn
    Primary: 16th March: Holiday Inn (Norwich Airport), Norwich
    Primary: 21st March: Holiday Inn (Ipswich Road), Norwich
    Primary: 28th March: Lynford Hall, Thetford
    Primary: 31st March: Kings Centre, Great Yarmouth

    All Seminars (except for Special Schools) start at 09.00 for 9:30, 11:00 tea break and finish at 13.00. There will be no charge for these seminars and a buffet lunch will be provided at 13.00. The seminars will be a mixture of presentations, discussions and working through case studies. Heads need to read the recently issued Sickness Absence Policy and Procedures in the Personnel Handbook and MI 79/05 dated 16/4/05 on Statutory Dismissal, Discipline and Grievance Procedures.

    Please note that there are number restrictions at all these seminars and Heads must book in advance. If the numbers of schools exceed the number of places, further seminars may be organised later.

    Application for a place should be sent by clicking onto the My School login, an acknowledgement will then be issued once your request has been received. The closing date for receipt of applications is 3 working days before the event.
