Children's Services Restructuring

I am writing to tell you about a consultation document that has been sent to all staff in Children's Services within Norfolk County Council. You can access the document by clicking here or by contacting my office for a hard copy.

Although this is an internal consultation document, it is the culmination of the extensive programme of discussion and engagement with stakeholders across the county about how we want Children's Services to be delivered for the future. I felt it was very important, therefore, to share it with you.

This is an important stage in the development of Children's Services, but over the next year and beyond I anticipate further development, particularly in the further integration of services with key partners.

The proposed structure is designed to provide a strong foundation for this further development and I will be very interested to hear your views as to whether you think it will achieve this aim.
