Extended Services through Extended Schools and Children’s Centres

Over 300 schools have now completed the online proforma featured in MI 11/06 and the Tranche 1 training programme started for those schools with pre-briefing sessions on 27th and 28th February and workshop 1 events on 6th March and 8th March. For further details, see Personnel: Training.

The Tranche 2 training programme will commence in September 2006 and those schools will be contacted shortly in writing (by letter) giving details of pre-briefing sessions and workshop dates.

Following tranches will commence in January, April and September 2007; January, April and September 2008, and those schools will be contacted in the term before their start date with details of events.

Schools can opt into the training programme at any stage and there will be a continued updated featured in Workforce Remodelling newsletters and on the esinet.
