Changes to the charging arrangements for services provided by Pupil Referral Units

Following the recent consulation, the attached guidance has been adapted to reflect feedback. This new system begins at the start of the summer term 06.

In addition, the costs per half day session for preventive PRU work is attached.

PRUs and Finance will monitor pupils and charges and ensure each school is informed of the costs involved. Finance will process the transfer of charges.

Area Behaviour Officers will provide each affected school with a letter explaining the implications and a summary of the pupils involved as from first day of summer term 06. This will arrive before the end of term.
