Norfolk Managed Move Protocol

The attached document has been prepared following a full review by representatives from Headteachers and Children's Services of the Managed Move Protocol introduced across Norfolk in September 2003.

The review considered the principles, process and practice and consulted with practioners to ensure that the amendments and revisions incorporated were based on good practice.

Managed move is regarded as a positive alternative to permanent exclusion and has offered many pupils the opportunity for a fresh start. This newly revised document builds on this principle and makes a positive contribution to the 'Every Child Matters' agenda.
