School and Pupil Census, Secondary Schools only, May 2006

The DfES require all schools to complete their May 2006 School Census Return on Thursday 18th May 2006. Please ensure that your school Census file reaches the Management Information Centre no later than 26th May 2006. Files should be sent using Anycomms(AVCO) data transfer system. Any school not able to use this should send their return by S2S data transfer system.

It is essential that you read the DfES guidance, which is available on Teachernet.

We strongly advise that your pupil attendance data, from 1st January 2006 to 31st March 2006, is fully up to date. All exclusion data for the Autumn Term 2005/6 is being collected in this return.

Pupil's full address is requested for Year 11 only.

Phoenix Schools only

You will need to install the Phoenix version 1.35. Full instructions for completing your School Census are on the ICT Solutions website.

Non-Phoenix Schools are requested to use their School Census compliant software to produce their School Census return. Non- Phoenix Schools will need to contact their appropriate support team.
