KS1 Contextual Analyses

Key Stage 1 Contextual Analyses

The Fischer Family Trust has been piloting some new reports based on end of Key Stage 1 assessments. These are not value added reports as they are not based on prior attainment, instead they take account of a range of contextual factors relating to the pupils and the school. Explanatory notes are provided at the front of each school's report.

The KS1 contextual analysis for your school is available as a link in the Key Data section of Norfolk Schools http://schools.norfolk.gov.uk/ within the "My School" area, accessible using your school password, then under commonly used items, click on Key Data. To see the report, go to the end of the section headed "How High are Standards - Achievement?" and click on the link "KS1 Contextual Analysis".

These reports are being introduced, and the analyses discussed, at the Primary National Strategy Headteacher Briefings being held in June. If you have not yet booked a place at one of the briefings but would like to do so, please contact Diana Duhig on 01603 433276. If you are attending one of these Headteacher briefings, it would be useful if you could bring a copy of the report for your school to join in the discussion. (Please note that these reports are only available for schools with Year 2 pupils.)
