New to Foundation Stage Teaching or Returning to Teaching the Foundation Stage

Essential basic training on 'How to Use the Foundation Stage Profile' (statutory assessment for the end of the foundation stage).

This course is highly recommended for any teacher or teaching assistant who is new to the Foundation Stage or who has not used the profile which was introduced four years ago.

The course will make clear the procedures for using the Foundation Stage Profile, offer practice in moderating judgements using video tape, provide information on moderation and data collection, outline recommended good practice in early years assessment.

NQTs who may have received little instruction on the profile in their initial training are also recommended to attend this fully funded training. (Supply cover needs must be met by the school.

Training for the electronic version of the profile will be available on the same days from 4.00 - 5.30 pm and will need to be booked separately on the same website.
