RAISEonline
Introduction
As you know, both the school PANDA and Pupil Achievement Tracker (PAT) are being replaced by a new online system called RAISEonline -
- Reporting and
- Analysis for
- Improvement through
- School
- Self Evaluation
This system has been developed by Ofsted in conjunction with the DfES and Primary and Secondary National Strategies. Click here to access RAISEonline.
You school's Username and Password will have been sent to the school in July, addressed to the Headteacher (We understand that the school's password is the same as your e-PANDA and SEF password). You will also have been given an Administrator's account with a different Username and Password, provided in the same letter. (If you don't have your Administrator's password you should email enquiries@ofsted.gov.uk as suggested on the log-on page under "Forgotten Password".) The providers suggest that the Administrator is an Admin person rather than a teacher.
The role of the Administrator will be mainly to set up additional users, make amendments to pupil data, and upload any additional datasets held locally (eg. Optional Test results or Question Level data).
Latest News on Availability of Data
We are expecting to be able to access 2005 data (pupil level and school level) as from Monday 18th September. There will also be 2004 data in the system, but only at school level, not pupil level.
2006 data will be included in October, but we understand it is most likely to be towards the end of October.
Training for Norfolk Schools
Once logged into RAISEonline, the Homepage provides links to three sources of Help
- Help button
- Tutorial
- Demonstration entitled "Getting Started with RAISEonline - walk through tutorial".
The providers of RAISEonline hope that schools will find it easy to use with the above support, however training is being provided by the Norfolk Education Advisory Service, in conjunction with Chris Jackson of the Information and Research Centre, for both Primary and Secondary phase schools.
Primary
There is provision for every school, and the training is fully funded for some schools, depending on the band you are in. (See your letter from Chris Snudden re Primary National Strategy, dated 7th July 2006 for information on banding). Dates for this training will be notified to you by the end of September.
Secondary
Training is available through this year's "Learning Programme". For information on dates and availability, please contact Anne Brown or Anita Lee.
If you have further queries about RAISEonline, please email Chris Jackson.
