KS4 and KS5 NCER Provisional 2006 Reports

Some provisional National Consortium of Examination Results (NCER) reports for 2006 will be forwarded to you by courier post this week. At this stage these will only include: for KS4, a summary attainment report and candidate list; for KS5, summary attainment reports, subject lists and candidate grades.

There are some differences between the schools' early results reported in August, and the provisional NCER figures, eg. %5+A*-C for Norfolk was believed to be 55.4% and the provisional NCER figure is 53.8%.

Before printing out all the other reports, it would be better to make any necessary amendments to the provisional dataset. I would therefore be grateful if you would check for any anomalies, especially where grades have changed or cohorts differ, and let me know by Friday 6th October so that I can update my database. I will need individual student/exam details.

I appreciate this gives you very little time to respond, but it will enable me to send out the remaining reports to you within two weeks. These will include KS4 and KS5 value added reports, and various KS4 subject analyses.
