Parenting Support Leaflets
Parents and carers have a crucial role in making sure that their children have the best possible life chances, and can make the most of educational and other opportunities. All of us who are parents know that at any time the wonderfully rewarding role of bringing up our children can also be really challenging, and it's no surprise that parents and carers in Norfolk want free and accessible advice and support on parenting throughout their children's lives.
Norfolk Children and Young People's Partnership Trust, led by Norfolk County Council Children's Services recognises this and has celebrated National Parents Week October 2008 by launching the Norfolk Parenting Support Strategy.
Leaflets for parents and carers are being distributed across Norfolk, mainly through schools, to make sure that parents and carers are aware of the Norfolk Parenting Support Strategy and services that they may find useful. When these leaflets arrive at your school please make sure they are displayed where parents can see them, and/or are given to relevant school staff to pass on to families they are working with.
