Two catch-all Performance Management briefing and planning sessions

Two catch-all Performance Management Briefing and Planning Sessions

Further to MI 194/06, which referred to the DfES consultation that ended on 30th August, 2006 and The Education (School Teacher Performance Management) (England) Regulations 2006 that were laid before Parliament in October 2006. As a result, briefing and planning sessions were held around the County during February and March 2007 on the revised performance management arrangements for teachers and headteachers.

There will be two further catch-all performance management briefing and planning sessions for those schools that did NOT attend a session in the Spring Term and for any new or acting Headteachers commencing April 2007. (It would be helpful if this message can be drawn to the attention of any new Headteachers that do not have access to Norfolk schools Esinet.) Where appropriate, one other member of the teaching staff in school who will take a role in performance management can also attend. These sessions are free to schools and supply cover can be claimed for one delegate per school.

The dates and venues for these two sessions are as follows: -

4th May Easton College, Easton, Norwich
9th May South Green Park Enterprise Centre, Mattishall, near Dereham

Timings are registration/coffee from 09.00 for 09.30 start and the session ends by 15.15.
