Governors’ Passwords for RAISEonline
As you may know, the interactive web-based software system, RAISEonline which stands for:- Reporting and
- Analysis for
- Improvement through
- School
- Self Evaluation
now includes 2006 school and pupil comparative data and allows you to access your "Full Report" (this replaces the "PANDA" of previous years). Schools have been provided with a facility to issue passwords to teachers. Governors, however, would require a slightly different level of access, ie. without pupil names (a requirement of the Data Protection Act). Unfortunately, the developers of RAISEonline, ie. Ofsted, DfES, and Primary & Secondary National Strategies, have yet to provide this facility.
We hope that schools and governors will endeavour to put pressure on the above national bodies to make this a priority. The contact details can be found using the "Contact Us" button at the top of this web-page on the ofsted website.
In the meantime, we feel it is important that Norfolk's governors are able to access their school's data, so in agreement with the DfES, the Local Authority has set up a temporary system to allow governors appropriate access.
- We have provided a single "Username" and "Password" for the use of all Governors in your school (see below). The password is different for each school.
- Even though the option to change the password is available within RAISEonline, it is important that no governor changes the password as this will have the effect of locking out all other governors.
We apologise for this convoluted approach, but it is the best solution we can find in the circumstances.
