Modern Reward Strategy

During July we will be publishing information on the proposed changes to terms and conditions of employments as part of the Modern Reward Strategy Project.

This Pre-launch Information will give staff within the scope of the project, in the case of schools, all support staff, an understanding of the terms and conditions which are under review and the proposed changes to them.

Staff will be informed of how the changes effect them personally in September when they will be written to, however, the information published in July will allow them the opportunity to digest the proposed changes.

The Pre-launch Information will be sent to schools via e-courier, so your support in ensuring your staff have access to this vital information is both essential and much appreciated. The timetable below is reliant on many factors, but we feel it's achievable and we want to give a clear indication of the deadlines we are aiming for.

June/July	conclude negotiations
July	pre-launch information on the proposed package of Terms and Conditions published
Before the end of July	final data checking with Headteachers for production of individual letters
September	- letters and information packs sent to individuals informing them of their outcome - 3-4 week consultation period - trade unions ballot their members

Arrangements have been made for a flyer publishing the Pre-launch Information to be sent to schools with the June payslips. Please ensure all support staff receive a copy of this flyer.
