Scrutiny Review of School Balances

A County Councillor working group has recently completed a scrutiny review of school balances. The review was undertaken to assist Members in their understanding of the level of balances and the reasons for schools holding such balances.

The working group reported to the Children’s Services Review Panel in May with their findings and recommendations. The Review Panel asked that the paper be presented to the Norfolk Schools Forum and then be made available to headteachers and governors. The Schools Forum discussed the paper at it’s meeting last Friday and now the full paper is attached for your information.
