HR Consultancy Support

There have been some changes to the Consultancy Team supporting schools from September 2007 onwards. These changes include the appointment of an additional HR Consultant in response to a growing demand for Consultancy Services and our wish to provide a sufficient provision to meet the needs of schools.

The team now consists of five HR Consultants and three part-time HR Officers. On the Consultancy side, Ali Fiddy, Ian Cooper and Helen Howard have been joined by Carole Human and Pollyanna Millie.

Carole Human joins the schools team having previously been supporting managers in Children's Services and prior to that within the Education Department as an HR Consultant.

Pollyanna Millie joins us from Adult Social Services. Previously she worked in the London Borough of Hackney where she supported a group of schools as a HR Consultant.

Alison Fiddy is due to take maternity leave from October half-term onwards. We will notify schools in Ali's patch once arrangements have been made to temporarily replace her.

The HR Officers are Louise Everett, Yvonne Afford and Sallie Frith. Katie Randell has moved to join the Department Team having supported Central Area Schools over the last 12 months. Katie will therefore no longer be supporting schools.

Although we have always sought to minimise changes as we recognise the benefits of continuity this provides to schools and team members, the above changes have required significant alterations to the current allocation of schools that each Consultant supports.

Most schools will be subject to changes in HR support and as a result, we are providing a link for you to see any changes and their contact details. (You will still need to log in to view the details). Included in the list are updated contact details of all dedicated HR staff for your school, including the Employee Services Centre.
