Invoicing for INSET courses

Schools will probably be aware that they have not yet been invoiced for attendance on courses during the Summer Term. This situation has arisen because of delays in the implementation of the invoicing process in our new course handling system. In order to maintain a good level of service for our users, and to safeguard this core part of our business, we felt it best to concentrate on ensuring the integrity and smooth running of the course booking and course and client management functions before attempting to roll-out the invoicing process. h1>Invoicing for INSET Courses The good news is that the system is bedding-in well, and work is now in progress to produce the data required for charging for these course attendances, either by journal transfer (for NCC customers) or by invoice (for customers outside NCC). We are planning a trial run this month to iron out any remaining problems, and once we are satisfied that the system is functioning correctly we will work to clear the backlog of charges for the Summer Term as quickly as possible, before continuing with those from the Autumn Term. Our aim is to be up-to-date with charges for all course attendances by the end of this term.

In the meantime, please continue to maintain your own records of course attendance for your staff. This will help you to keep track of your financial commitment against the professional development budget, and also enable you to verify the details that will appear on your download.
