Revised Model Pay and Performance Management Policy – Autumn 2007
MI 136/07 gave details of revisions to the school teachers pay and conditions document 2007. As a result of these revisions and other suggestions made by colleague Headteachers, the model policy has been updated and clarified. Please click here for access to the revised policy documentation. You will note that the policy is shown as Section 9 appendix C which reflects that it will be included in the Schools HR Handbook in due course. I am commending adoption of the revised model policy by the Governing Body and suggest that this is considered and the next available meeting of either the full Governing Body or if consideration has been delegated to the staffing committee then that committee can decide whether to adopt the policy. As with any policy document related to staff, it will be necessary to consult with all staff and take any comment and consideration when recommending adoption to the Governing Body.
