Norfolk Admission Forum
The Norfolk Admissions Forum was established following the Education Act 2002 in order to allow Admission Authorities and other interested parties to discuss the effectiveness of admission arrangements and how they will serve local families. This is achieved by seeking agreements on how to deal with difficult issues and advising Admission Authorities on ways in which their arrangements can be improved. Further information on the Forum can be found in the Parents Guide booklets or on the Admissions website.The School Admissions Code 2007 sought to widen the membership of Admission Forum by requiring all schools in the local authority area to nominate a member. Each school representative should be the Headteacher or a governor. It will be assumed that all future correspondence regarding the Forum should be sent to the Headteacher unless Hayley Goodson is informed that a member of the governing body has been nominated in their place.
The next meeting of the Forum will take place at 2.00pm on Thursday 28 February 2008 at the Ecotech Centre in Swaffham.
