Throughout the MRS process you have been provided with Fact Sheets and Briefings so that you have sufficient knowledge and understanding to be able to advise and support your support staff.Now that the County Council and trade unions have achieved a local proposal it is again important to provide you with information about this stage in the process so that you feel well supported and as a first point of contact able to deal with the questions that come to you.
Attached please find Fact Sheet 9 Local Proposal which contains a number of key messages for you to keep in mind when you are supporting your staff.
Also attached is a copy of the Proposal Preview. In this special edition of the MRS newsletter we feature the local proposal for a new pay and conditions package that has been reached by the County Council and trade unions UNISON, GMB and TGWU-UNITE.
Headteachers please note:
It is important to ensure that all of your support staff see the Proposal Preview. Please make a copy available for anyone who does not have easy PC access as part of their work. Remember, MRS communications should also be shared with any staff on maternity leave or sick leave as well as casual staff.
