NUT STRIKE 24 APRIL 2008 - MORE ADVICE
In MI Sheet 58/08, last week, we gave some useful advice. We are now following this up with advice on notifying the Employee Service Centre where staff have taken action or have not crossed picket lines together with some FAQs covering specific situations. We also need your help to gather information about the impact of the strike on your school.Notification to the Service Centre should be via a pro-forma. Click here to download the pro-forma or here for staff who cannot get in to "My School", the proforma must be completed with all details and authorised by the Headteacher/Manager. Schools should email to schoolsadmin.eps.edu@norfolk.gov.uk or FAX to 01603 495841 by 16 May 2008. The attached form must be sent from the Headteachers email account ie head@norfolk.
Managers in Central Services should email to escgeneralenquires@norfolk.gov.uk or FAX to 01603 222470 by 16 May 2008.
However, please note that the processing requirements to make these deductions, given other competing payroll changes, will mean that deductions will appear in the June 2008 payslip.

NOTIFYING THE IMPACT OF THE STRIKE
In order to deal with a considerable amount of interest about the strike by parents, the press, County Council and at ministerial level, I am asking for your co-operation and support in providing detailed information as the picture emerges. This is what we need to know by when:
Will the school be open/partly open or closed?
How many teachers, will or are taking action?
How many pupils will be/are affected?
In order that we are fully aware, as the picture builds, please provide the information requested below on the following three occasions:-
