Fair Processing Notification Update for 08/09

Here are the updated Fair Processing Notifications from the Department for Children, Schools and Families for all schools. There are guidance notes which detail the requirements with respect to "Fair Processing" under the Data Protection Act and the passing of information to Connexions (Secondary age only).

The notification is for all parents, and all pupils over the age of 12yrs.

This year the notification has been issued in 2 layers.

Layer 1 must be sent to all parents, and to all pupils over the age of 12yrs.
Layer 2 must be published on the school's website and made available in hard copy on a parent's or pupil's request. If a school does not have an available website, this link can be used: www.norfolk.gov.uk/fairprocessingnotices

On all documents you must fill in the school details where appropriate (marked in red).
