Early Years Foundation Stage Profile: Training for NQT's, Returners to Teaching and New to Foundation Stage

Your school should have recently received the new Early Years Foundation Stage Profile handbook from QCA. A pdf version of the profile handbook can be downloaded from the NAA website.

Although the Early Years Foundation Stage Profile is substantially the same as in previous years there are some significant changes that all headteachers and practitioners need to be aware of. Briefing events around the county have been arranged for headteachers.

Local Authorities are required to develop an annual plan and evaluation for Early Years Foundation Stage Profile moderation to the National Assessment Agency (NAA) following their published requirements. One of the requirements is that we track all teachers who are new to teaching the Foundation Stage or who are returning after an absence of some years.
