Primary Schools Target Setting
TARGET SETTING TIMETABLE - PRIMARY SCHOOLS - AUTUMN 2008
ALL schools are required to set targets this term. Please see detailed guidance.
Primary and Junior Schools will be setting targets for 2010 attainment as well as absence
Infant Schools are required to set 2010 absence targets this term
| End September 2008 | Management Information sheet is published providing the timetable for the Autumn Term Target Setting process, with a link to detailed guidance. |
| 10th October 2008 (KS2 only) | Fischer Family Trust (FFT) school-level reports will be available on the My School website. To access these, go to KeyData, scroll down to Attainment or Achievement and click on the 'MoreInfo...' button. |
21st October 2008 (KS2 only) | FFT pupil-level estimates, paper copy, will arrive in schools (Data Protection regulations prevent us from providing these on the My School website). |
End Oct / Early Nov 2008 | Schools use their data and have discussions with staff to compile proposed targets. |
By Friday 7th Nov 2008 | Schools enter 'Proposed' targets on line (via My School website >Commonly used Items, or School Performance > 2010 Target Setting). Once entered, please click 'Save Changes & Submit. |
Nov to 5th Dec 2008 | Governors agree targets. |
By Friday 5th Dec 2008 | Chair of Governors, Headteacher and SIP verify targets and schools enter 'Agreed Final' targets on line. This can be done by simply clicking the button 'Copy Proposed to Agreed Final' Once entered, please click 'Save Changes & Submit'. Targets are then confirmed by entering the Headteacher's name, Chair of Governors' name and SIP's name, and the date agreed, on the target setting website and again please click 'Save Changes & Submit'. |
