Transfer to High School - September 2009

FAO Headteachers in all Primary and Junior Schools

Can you please remind all parents of children in your transfer group that the closing date for preferences to be cast is now approaching (Friday 14^th November 2008). A general announcement in class asking pupils to remind their parents to return their forms to us or apply online by the closing date will suffice. Parents can apply online at www.admissionsonline.norfolk.gov.uk.

We will shortly be sending schools a list of all the applications we have received which will enable you to 'chase' individuals for whom no application has been received.

If parents have lost their application and do not wish to apply online, it is acceptable for them to list their preferences in order on a blank sheet of paper stating their child's full name, their own name, present address and relationship to the child. Parents will need to sign and date the paper and can cast up to 3 preferences. Completed forms or letters should be returned to:

Please do not chase parents of statemented children as these children will be dealt with through the statement review system.
