You will be aware that Ofsted are currently piloting a new framework of inspection. Based on the outcomes of this pilot, a new inspection process will come into operation across England from September 2009.

Once the new framework is finalised and available from Ofsted, Norfolk will offer briefing and training sessions for headteachers to support their preparation for inspection from September.

The training is likely to be available at the end of the summer term and early in the autumn term. Details will be circulated as soon as Ofsted's timescale is known.
