Headteachers will be aware that there are significant additional pressures on school budgets.

School Forum agreed a number of workshops will be held during week commencing 23 February 2009 to share with headteachers and school finance staff the rationale used in the preparation of school budget allocations for 2009/10. We will also offer guidance to schools on the allocation of school budgets for 2009/10 and subsequent years.

The session will also cover the 'Close Down' procedure for schools for 2008/09.

You are welcome to attend whichever session is the most convenient.
