An email was sent to all schools from Norfolk County Council, on behalf of Norfolk Police, asking schools to provide details about their school uniform.

Norfolk Police are getting more requests for help regarding child victims of online sexual exploitation and abuse, trying to establish the identity of a child sometimes simply from visual clues contained within an image. Quite often this will involve a school badge or logo and in a lot of cases this will involve relatively poor quality images.

We are therefore trying to establish a Norfolk database of school uniforms and badges for all schools within the County to assist with the process of identifying victims.

It would be much appreciated if you could fill in the survey from the email sent to your school office email address. We plan to ask schools annually if there have been any changes to the school uniform, so that we can maintain the accuracy of the database.
