Act now... Childcare Vouchers - sign up to this money saving scheme by 31 August 2018

The Government have confirmed the closure of this scheme to new joiners in the autumn* so sign up by 31 August 2018 then you can remain on the scheme beyond 2018 and continue to benefit from savings.

Please inform any staff on or soon to be on Maternity and any other types of leave about this deadline.

The Childcare Voucher scheme run by Kiddivouchers helps with childcare costs if you have children up to age 15.

Why use Childcare Vouchers?

  • They work through a system known as 'Salary Sacrifice'. This means that you receive the childcare vouchers instead of part of your salary. Unlike your salary, you don't pay any tax or National Insurance on childcare vouchers. The saving in tax and National Insurance can be worth over £900** a year per parent.
  • The vouchers can be used to pay for nurseries, nannies, childminders, holiday clubs and out-of-school care.

What's the alternative?

A Government scheme called 'Tax-Free Childcare' gives working parents a different option for tax savings on their childcare directly through the Government and employer supported Childcare Voucher schemes are being phased out.

It's important to know…

Many employees will be better off staying with Childcare Vouchers and some will not be eligible for the alternative Government scheme, so you should join before it's too late.

How to join the scheme…

Go to www.kiddivouchers.com and join by using scheme reference number S987817V. You must do this by 31 August 2018 (before our September payroll cut off).

*Although the Government deadline to join Childcare Vouchers is 4th October 2018, you need to be signed up by 31 August to meet our September payroll cut off.
