Assessment and Accountability Briefings
This is a half day briefing for Senior Leaders, Assessment Leads and Middle Leaders
During the half day, delegates will be given an overview of outcomes and feedback for assessment and moderation for 2017/18; lessons learned, future actions and training opportunities; and information on statutory assessment and accountability for 2018/19.
By attending the briefings delegates will:
- Be fully informed about assessment and moderation from 2017/18 and future actions to be taken from this
- Have the information about expectations and processes for assessment and moderation in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 for 2018/19
- Be informed of further training opportunities for statutory assessment in 2018/19

Moderator-Led Assessment Networks
Local Authority moderators will be running Moderator-led Assessment Networks for teachers in YR, Y2 and Y6 in their schools once again this year. The events will take place from mid-November and again during February. The twilights will focus on key messages from the Standards and Testing Agency regarding the teacher assessment frameworks for the 3 key stages, as well as providing an opportunity for teachers to moderate their own evidence bases with colleagues from a range of schools. Schools will receive booking information by Friday 19th October via head@ and office@ email address, as well as via Perspective.
