Schools Courier Contract Review Consultation feedback

In "MI Sheet 143/18 - Schools Courier Contract Review Consultation" we asked for your views on the courier deliveries that we run between NCC and schools in Norfolk.

The consultation has now closed, and we would like to thank everybody who responded. Having considered all the responses we can confirm that with effect from 1 April 2019 we will be changing the way that we send post to schools.

The collection and delivery of School Library boxes, and the collection and delivery of Schools finance files were out of scope for the review and will still be provided as a service.

There are two remaining deliveries on the existing contract with our Courier, arriving in schools on either 7-8 of January and on either 25-26 February, that will be delivered by a courier as normal. After this, post from Norfolk County Council will be sent by Royal Mail. Full details of the new Schools Post Service will be sent to schools in February 2019.
