Updated Threshold Guidance
The illustrated Threshold Guide has now been revised to include the new information regarding the Children's Advice and Duty Service (CADS). There is an illustrated and text only version of the guidance available.

The guidance makes clear that agencies should make records of their conversations with CADS in order to have a clear audit trail of the outcome agreed. The named Consultant Social worker will then email a summary of the conversation and agreed decision.
Please use this version of the guidance from now on. Hard copies will be distributed to Early Years Settings, Schools and locality offices during April 2019.
Don't forget to book onto the Threshold Relaunch/ Children's Advice and Duty Service Briefing events that are happening in April and May, if you have not already done so.
