PE and Sport Premium Website Report Publication Deadline

Schools are reminded that the deadline to publish a report on the use of the PE and Sport Premium for 2018/19 is July 31. As a minimum the website report should include information on:

  • the amount of premium received
  • a full breakdown of how it has been spent (or will be spent)
  • what impact the school has seen on pupils' PE and sport participation and attainment
  • how the improvements will be sustainable in the future
  • how many pupils within their 18/19 year 6 cohort can do each of the following:
  • swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres
  • use a range of strokes effectively
  • perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations

As best practice you may also want to include:

  • SIDP links
  • Previous years reports
  • Percentage of funding allocated
  • Anecdotal evidence of impact - quotes/observations.
  • Photos

The Association for Physical Education (AfPE) and the Youth Sport Trust have developed a useful template to help ensure all the right information is captured and displayed clearly www.afpe.org.uk/physical-education/evidencing-the-impact-guidance-template/
