Please be aware that the Schools EFS efs.norfolk.gov.uk and Finance systems website www.sites.google.com/a/nsix.org.uk/star-accounts/home-1 will be taken off line and replaced with InfoSpace during the summer holidays, which will incorporate both Finance and HR central web hosted content. Both websites were provided as a resource for customers of the traded finance service. The new site will give an improved experience in both functionality and appearance for our customers, being similar to that used by our HR colleagues. Any statutory information will be moved to the Norfolk Schools website with links available via the InfoSpace site.

This will include:

• School Budget Shares
• School Benchmarking
• The Scheme for Financing Schools
• Budget Share Area

All will be accessible via the Finance pages of the Schools website.

Finance InfoSpace will provide the same range of model policies, procedures and guidance documents as the numerous previous websites did. The new site includes a number of new features to improve user experience including menu and search navigation, and personalised homepage including “favourites”, helpful links, newsletters and proactive email alerts when changes are made.

All user accounts already established which use the services of Educator Solutions HR and that of Finance will have access to this additional module, their accounts will be replicated on a similar basis based on the level of service purchased. Essentially all schools purchasing an SLA from both departments will receive the access required to fully navigate this site. For new or existing customers which may not buy a full subscription this will be limited to the accessible elements which link to your specific purchase.

Administration of the accounts held as the main account holder for the establishment has the ability to set up other accounts. Guidance will be issued to support the process of setting up accounts. It will now be for individual customer establishments to determine whether their employees should have access to the content on the site, taking into account the extent to which the model framework is followed locally.

Finance InfoSpace will be accessed at www.InfoSpace.org.uk. A virtual tour of the site will be available via the TOUR button (on the header bar on the HR InfoSpace site) once the page becomes active.
