Management Information Sheet

Coming to a venue near your school at some point this year, is the SEND Local Offer Family Roadshow.

Specifically for parent/ carers who have a child with SEND, these FREE events aim to:

1. Reach parent/ carers not affiliated to a parent/ carers forum or group.
2. Share key information on how the local offer is developing.
3. Listen to feedback about the effectiveness of the SEND local offer.
4. Use feedback to inform the design/redesign of services that are part of the SEND local offer.

Each event will cover the following agenda items:

1. Update on recent developments e.g. SEND & AP Transformation Programme and Area SEND Strategy
2. Summary of SEND Local Offer Feedback received in last month(s)
3. Feedback from parent/ carers on their local issues
4. Lunch and networking

Parent/ carer support groups and the Information Advice and Support Service (IASS) will have representatives at information stands to help parent/ carers can find out more about what they can offer.

We would be grateful if you would promote these events to parent/ carers who have a child on SEN Support or with an Education, Health and Care plan in your setting by sending out the attached poster.
