EAL Admissions and EAL/ SEN course
The Education Vulnerable Groups Achievement & Access Service has designed a course to support delegates to ensure best practice for English as an Additional Language pupils and their families in two key areas.
In part one we look at the advantages that conducting a thorough Admissions meeting can bring. In addition, in part two, we will cover how to distinguish between EAL and SEN issues and will demonstrate the use of an effective assessment pack which can be used to screen for SpLD in EAL pupils.
