All schools settings should have clear procedures in place for dealing with a critical or traumatic incident, and this is a reminder to update your procedures.

All local authority schools have access to the Red Book template which you will find via the link (once logged into my schools).

Academies and independent schools which buy into the Critical Incident Service will be receiving an email with the Red Book directly. They can also access it via the above link from October half-term. Training on managing Critical incidents is available for both new and experienced leaders (separate training event).
