Online Ofsted Briefing Video
The new Ofsted Framework came in to force in September 2019. What do the changes mean for your school? How do they affect how you govern? How can your governing board prepare for inspection? Our 30-minute online briefing will help to answer those questions.
The briefing incorporates feedback from real life inspections to give some context of what the new inspections will look like in the real world. Please turn on your speakers (or headphones) and watch the Governors' Online Ofsted Briefing.
On the same webpage you will find a copy of the Online Briefing Pack which includes questions based around the 4 judgement areas outlined in the new Ofsted framework, which we can ask of ourselves as governors / trustees and of our school senior leaders. These questions are intended to get us to critically think about how we are performing against the judgements and to help us identify areas to make improvements.
