Information about ATT equipment during COVID-19 isolation period

During the COVID-19 outbreak, Access Through Technology (ATT) team has agreed that equipment can be taken home by pupils who are not attending school, providing the guidelines below are followed.

Guidelines:

  1. School will check with the school IT technician that home use can be supported, and that the pupil will be able to log on at home.
  2. Whilst the equipment is at home E-Safety remains the responsibility of the school. School will discuss E-Safety procedures with parent(s)/carer(s) and the pupil.
  3. The laptop will only be used by the pupil for school work.
  4. Passwords will not be changed.
  5. No additional software will be installed or downloaded unless permission is given by ATT.
  6. Schools will provide on-going support and guidance to families on using the ATT equipment and software.

School must notify ATT at att@norfolk.gov.uk with the names of pupils who will be taking (or have taken) equipment home and confirm the guidelines have been discussed with parents/carers.

While the ATT equipment is at home, there will be no technical support from ATT or the county technicians.
