During the COVID-19 outbreak, Access Through Technology (ATT) team has agreed that equipment can be taken home by pupils who are not attending school, providing the guidelines below are followed.
Guidelines:
- School will check with the school IT technician that home use can be supported, and that the pupil will be able to log on at home.
- Whilst the equipment is at home E-Safety remains the responsibility of the school. School will discuss E-Safety procedures with parent(s)/carer(s) and the pupil.
- The laptop will only be used by the pupil for school work.
- Passwords will not be changed.
- No additional software will be installed or downloaded unless permission is given by ATT.
- Schools will provide on-going support and guidance to families on using the ATT equipment and software.
School must notify ATT at att@norfolk.gov.uk with the names of pupils who will be taking (or have taken) equipment home and confirm the guidelines have been discussed with parents/carers.
