Schools travel survey

We know that you are very busy at the moment trying to get your school ready for pupils and staff to return. Norfolk County Council recently received a letter from the Minister for Roads, Buses and Places, Baroness Vere of Norbiton, explaining the importance of making sure there are safe and healthy ways to travel to school. She expressed that solutions must be locally led - therefore NCC is working across departments to support schools through the challenges of maintaining social distancing, reducing air pollution, and improving road safety around the school when they return.

We are extremely keen to make sure that solutions are flexible and work best for individual schools and do not become a burden. Therefore, we would like your help with this short survey to understand how we can support you and your school to do this.

Complete the survey here:

We will analyse the data you provide to design support and services for schools and we will contact you to offer these to you as funding is available. We already have some funding to support schools in some areas of Norfolk. However, we want to hear from all schools, as if we can identify what's needed we can try and find more funding and resources to help out.

We will use the feedback you share to shape our future support to schools through Norfolk County Council's teams -- Children's Services, Road Safety, Pushing Ahead, AtoBetter, and Active Norfolk.

This survey closes on Wednesday 22 July 2020.
