Temporary Imprest Allocation Payback & Negative Monthly Reimbursements

If your LA school currently Bank with Barclays, we are requesting schools no longer send cheques to Norfolk County Council for negative reimbursements or for the repayment of any temporary imprest increases. These will now be taken automatically from your bank on the date your monthly return is processed or on the date you were notified your temporary imprest figure was to be repaid. This process will come into effect from September 2020.

All outstanding negative reimbursement cheques or temporary imprest increases will be collected shortly after 25 September 2020. We will notify your school of any temporary increases due in a separate email before this date.

If your school foresees any issues with cash flow, please ensure a request for a temporary/permanent increase is made before the 25 September 2020.
