Headteacher Induction

The Induction takes place over 3 terms, from the term your post starts. It is for new headteachers, headteachers new to Norfolk, Acting Headteachers and new Heads of School.

The induction process would usually take place a day a term at Norwich Professional Development Centre. In light of the current climate, we have adapted our working to continue to deliver some of the induction online, indeed last term we had several useful discussions on Zoom.

Online Welcome - 17 September

We would like to start the year by gathering new heads together, firstly to officially congratulate you on your new post, but also to talk about how we can support you best.

The first, short meeting is on Thursday 17 September from 10am - 11am. Sara Tough, Director of Children's Services and Jess Balado, Co-Chair of Educate Norfolk will welcome you.

If you have attended any online meetings before, this will still be relevant to you as we will be shaping the content of induction for the next academic year.
