Thank you for all the support and efforts ahead of and during the Easter holidays!

Thanks to your efforts to promote the Pink Orange boxes, the online offer and the face to face clubs, a third of eligible families in the county engaged in the programme with 7388 families receiving an activity box and online offer and over 500 children accessing the limited face to face sessions. Feedback from families has been very positive, particularly on the range of activities provided, the opportunity to participate as a family and the chance to cook as a family with 91 percent of respondents to our feedback survey suggesting that the children were involved in food preparation.

Planning is underway for the Big Norfolk Holiday Fun programme for the summer: we are planning for a face to face offer, and activity providers have been submitting expressions of intent (EOI) to offer activities as part of the scheme this summer.

If you are planning to deliver or would like to deliver activities at your school this summer please complete the EOI, available on the Active Norfolk - Big Norfolk Holiday Fun web page by 20 May 2021.

We will be mapping out all of the activities gathered through the EOI to ensure that there is provision to meet the needs of families across the county. Where we identify that there is need but we don't currently have any activity providers delivering in the area, we may be in touch to discuss whether you are able to host activities at your school.

Once we have the summer offer finalised we will let you know. We would really value your support in promoting it to eligible families to ensure that as many children and young people as possible get involved in the activities.
