Summer Schools Webinar and Extended Sign-up Window

The DfE has extended the sign-up window for the Summer Schools Programme until Friday 28 May.

Schools can access their funding allocation before signing up for the programme, to indicate they intend to run a summer school.

For further information, the DfE recently held an information session. A live recording can be accessed on MS Teams.

We are asking all schools who are planning Summer Holidays provision to tell us about their plans so that we can support all partners in putting together a well-balanced offer to match the needs in our communities. We are keen to gain a comprehensive view of provision that we can share, to support you in making the best use of all existing and planned activity, fully utilising the offers from voluntary and independent providers.

We are therefore asking schools to indicate their intentions regarding the running of summer schools in this survey.

You can also indicate on the survey if you are eligible for the Summer School programme but are not intending to take part.

Oak National Academy Summer Learning Support Offer

The DfE has announced that Oak National Academy is extending its support to schools, teachers and pupils across summer 2021.

Oak's Summer Teacher Hub and Summer Classroom will provide resources and lessons for both face-to-face summer schools and summer home learning.
