We are excited to announce the launch of the first Norfolk Pupil Premium Plus WOW Awards, celebrating best practice to make a difference. Pupil Premium Plus funding underpins so much of what we do to support looked after children in education and we want to celebrate the many examples of how it is making a difference.

• There will be awards and prizes for winning schools entering a best practice case study on the use of Pupil Premium Plus funding for looked after children.
• Two schools will each win £2,500, with runners up receiving £1,000 additional funding, to be used for the benefit of the education of looked after children.
• The competition will run until the end of the 2021-22 academic year and will be judged by the Virtual School Reference Group. Winners will be announced in the Autumn Term 2022.
• All case studies submitted as part of our exceptional funding agreements will automatically be entered into the competition (unless schools opt out) and all entries will be entered into a prize draw, where three additional schools will receive an award of £200.
