Early Help Assessments (letter) and Multi-Agency Support Panels

Early Help - Everyone's Responsibility

Please see the attached letter from Chris Robson, Independent Chair of the NSCP, about the Early Help offer that has been launched this week. Further information about Early Help and the new Early Help and Assessment Plan can be found on the NSCP website.

Multi-agency Support Panels (MASP)

As many of you will be aware, we developed Multi-agency Support Panels last year to support schools and settings to prevent the escalation of need for vulnerable children and families who are not subject to an existing support plan (Early Help, Child in Need, Child Protection, etc). Further information about MASP is available on the Schools and Learning Providers (aka Norfolk Schools) website.

The MASP will continue to run on a monthly basis throughout the Autumn Term. To access this support, please call the Partner and Community Focus Service on the contact number relevant to your district below, between 8:30am and 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, and ask for a MASP referral:

  • Breckland - 01362 654567
  • Broadland - 01603 222811
  • Great Yarmouth (East) - 01493 448153
  • North Norfolk - 01692 502205
  • Norwich - 01603 222812
  • South Norfolk - 01603 222814
  • West Norfolk and King's Lynn - 01553 669673

If they determine that the MASP can help, the referral will be listed for a multi-agency case discussion.
