Referrals into Norfolk 0-19 Healthy Child programme
From the Children and Young People's Health Services Norfolk:
We have made some adjustments to the way we receive referrals into our service to ensure that children and young people access the most appropriate support as soon as possible.
We undertake a robust triage and offer more assessments within our Just One Number team to be able to signpost resources and provide advice, agree when direct intervention work might be appropriate, and with which pathway team, or suggest when an alternative agency might be more appropriate. As a result, we no longer accept paper referrals as we really want to have these important conversations with you at the start of a child/young person's journey into our service. We also really welcome referrals direct from parents so you may like to support them to access our service directly rather than the referral coming from school staff. They can also call us on 0300 300 0123.
Young people 11-19 years can continue to access our service directly through Chat health, our text messaging service, on 07480 635060.
